Obviously, I feel like I don't need to mention this, but I will anyway, this book does contain spoilers to the previous series. This is just a minor thing but being that the characters are already so defined, it was something I noticed. Thorne was always my favourite and in this book, he was still funny but not what he used to be. I think my only real complaint would be that sometimes the characters felt, I guess, off.

There was a bit of a build up to the main storyline and I wasn't sure when the story was going to start, but I can't complain too much because I enjoyed getting re-acquainted with the characters, but I could see how some would prefer a quicker start. She didn't really have a fairy tale to go off of but I liked the story that she created. In terms of the story, I did quite like what Meyer did. I liked where things left off in the last book and after I read the stories in Stars Above, but I don't think I'll ever be able to leave this world and characters so I was totally game for another story in this world. I loved seeing all the characters of the other books in this one. I loved seeing all my favourite characters, I've had a picture of them in my mind of what I thought they looked like, but seeing them imagined by someone else was really cool. I don't really have much to compare it to, but I would say that the illustrator was able to portray the story very well. I'm not used to the two elements, the visual and the written, but I think that it was well done. Like I mentioned, this is one of my first graphic novels so I wasn't sure how it would go. Told through blue-hued drawings and witty commentary, Meyer continues her series from a new point of view.

It takes place a few months after the end of the series, picking up where things left off. The story follows Iko, everyone's favourite sassy android, as she tries to track down the rogue wolf soldiers leftover from Queen Levana's reign.
